Appirio Selected as a Finalist for 2010 CODiE Awards

Appirio Leads Best Project Management Category with Cloud-Based Professional Services Enterprise Solution

SAN MATEO, CA—March 24, 2010—Appirio, a cloud solution provider, today announced that its Professional Services Enterprise (PS Enterprise) offering has been selected by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) as a finalist for the prestigious CODiE Awards in the Best Project Management category. The winning solution will be voted on and selected by members of SIIA and announced in May.

"In less than a year, Appirio's PS Enterprise product has been highlighted on-stage during the Dreamforce 2009 keynote, shown at Google Campfire, demonstrated live at this year's Cloud Connect LaunchPad event and now selected as a CODiE Award finalist," said Narinder Singh, CMO and head of products at Appirio. "These achievements are a testament to the power of creating a complete services management solution that finally unifies sales and service delivery. The fact that it builds on an ever improving cloud platform and enables direct collaboration with customers increases the value even more."

PS Enterprise is a cloud-based solution that helps professional services teams manage their people, projects, customers and financials. It currently supports more than 9,000 service professionals and provides the capabilities service organizations need to increase revenue and utilization, to gather and communicate customer insight, and to attract and retain the right team for the job. Because PS Enterprise is built on the Force.com cloud platform, customers also benefit from the rapid innovation, scalability, security and TCO of the world's leading cloud platform. As an example of this innovation, PS Enterprise customers will soon experience the anticipated "social" capabilities enabled by Salesforce.com Chatter.

Products nominated for the CODiE Awards underwent an intensive review by subject matter experts, analysts, journalists and others with deep experience in the field. One hundred eighty-eight products from 136 companies were selected as finalists from more than 785 nominations submitted by 374 companies. All finalists may now be reviewed on the CODiE Awards Web site at www.siia.net/CODiEs.

“This is the twenty‐fifth year we have recognized excellence in the software, education and information industries through the CODiE Awards program,” noted Ken Wasch, President of SIIA. “In this economic climate, companies are doing even more to innovate. Appirio has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and quality that is reflected in their selection as a finalist for the CODiE Awards. I am pleased and proud to have them listed among the candidates, and I wish them the best in the final round of voting.”

This is the second consecutive year Appirio has been selected as a CODiE Award finalist. In 2009, Appirio won a CODiE Award for "Content Newcomer of the Year." For more information about Appirio, please visit www.appirio.com.
